NEW MOON IN CANCER
Astrology by Lisa Stardust
The New Moon in Cancer occurs on the evening of June 28th and is urging us to clap back and take a stand against the patriarchy. It’s asking us to get loud and fight for our rights!
The New Moon squares Jupiter and aligns with the Black Moon Lilith while harmonizing with the asteroid Vesta. This means that the public is tired of accepting the status quo and yearns to rebel against authority. We are currently seeing this play out by the protests which are fighting for women’s rights in the United States. Instead of accepting the Supreme Court ruling that overturned Roe v.Wade on Friday, June 24, the majority of citizens are advocating for abortion and reproductive rights throughout the United States.
Black Moon Lilith isn’t subservient and she doesn’t listen to authority. When in Cancer, she takes a stand and connects with causes that are near and dear. No one can tell Black Moon Lilith what to do — especially with her body. Add in the fiery asteroid Vesta, and it makes us super protective of what the government is imposing on our personal lives. Jupiter’s presence is showing the unjust ruling and the need to speak up against the Supreme Court’s ruling.
THE NEW MOON IN CANCER OCCURS ON JUNE 28 AT 7:52 PM PT AND 10:52 PM ET.
WHAT TO MANIFEST DURING THE NEW MOON:
The best thing to manifest is women’s rights. Get out and protest against the Supreme Court’s ruling or donate money to the cause. If you cannot see either, then you can post your allegiance on social media by sharing links to guide people who want to help. There is power in numbers and if we ban together, we can be stronger in challenging the decision made on June 24.
