The United States is experiencing it’s Pluto Return on February 22, 2022 for the first time ever. The planetary return which happens every 248 years has brought down empires and changed rulerships.
When Pluto first moved into Capricorn on November 27, 2008 there was a major shift in the cosmos that will last until January 21, 2024. Transformation was implemented in the way society handled business, money, and how we relate to authority. Being that Capricorn is a sign known for its ambition and Pluto is a dwarf planet known for change, this transit began to transcend matters on a great scale.
Since the planetary shift in 2008, we have seen falls from power of those who’ve abused their status, the rise of #MeToo, and the Black Lives Matter movement has swept the globe. The dichotomy of who ran the country is shifting and the people who live in the U.S. want change.
What can we expect?
The foundation of the U.S. has many cracks in it, which is why we can expect to see it being rebuilt in a better way in which the people hold the power. The government has to be accountable and responsible for the wrong doings of its past — particularly the racist and misogynistic roots that the country was founded on. The New Moon in Aquarius is a transformative time that will have a lasting impact on our lives. Instead of allowing ourselves to be stuck in the same old situations, it’s urging us to make meaningful changes that help us move towards our innermost dreams, visions, and state of being.
This lunation Is activating the Saturn and Uranus square, which was one of the major astrological transit of 2021. February 17, June 14, and December 24, 2021 were the three days that the transit was exact last year. Therefore, we should look at the stories that unfolded at those times to see how we can navigate through this Dark Moon.
Uranus, who’s the planet of rebellion and freedom and is currently orbiting the sign Taurus, shared an exact square with the Aquarius Sun on January 30, urging us to be the truest and most authentic versions of ourselves.
