The Flower Lunar Eclipse In Scorpio
Astrology by Lisa Stardust
WHAT IS ASTROLOGICALLY SPECIAL ABOUT THIS ECLIPSE?
The lunar eclipse opposes the extremist planet Uranus, making it a moment of uncertainty and excitement. The fixed star Zubenelgenubi aligns with the Scorpio moon, which is in the Via Combusta degrees (these are erratic degrees of planets Libra at 15 degrees and Scorpio at 15 degrees, except for 23 degrees Libra). The energy is intense and dramatic — but forgiving. Arguments and debates may begin in the days leading to (also, on the day of or after) the eclipse. Since eclipses bring past matters to light (Mercury retrograde is urging us to focus on old situations). Think of this as a time to clear the air in order to start fresh. Scorpio focuses on sex, transformation, and taxes — we are dealing with the emotional and financial debts owed to others. However, we are not allowing ourselves to be manipulated. Our eyes are open and we are wanting to make changes for the better — even if that means having hard conversations to remedy situations or relationships. In order for things to evolve and grow in the right direction, we must face the music and try to make a positive change. Remember, the darkest hour is just before dawn. Everything may seem topsy-turvy at the time of the eclipse, but you’ll survive if you note that it’s just a moment in time and work towards advancing yourself to become the best version of yourself. Keep the lessons that the eclipse is bringing close to your heart and mind as you spiritually evolve.
