Astrological Sign/rising: I am a true Lioness! I am a Leo with Libra rising. My birth chart reveals that 4 out of my 5 major planets (Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars) reside in Leo, the 5th (Mercury) is just over the cusp into Virgo!

Which Goddess or Goddess Archetype do you most identify with and why?

All of the archetypes together- mother, seductress, healer, warrior, muse, sage, lover, destroyer, etc. - create a multi-faceted image of what I believe true power to be. The Goddess archetype, to me, incorporates all aspects of an enlightened being. I understand the goddess' power most clearly through embracing all of her aspects and finding balance between them to bring enlightenment through wholeness.

I often call upon Hecate to truly unlock the spirit of the witch inside myself. I've always been drawn to her because of her mastery and dominion over the dark mysteries of sorcery, the moon, and poisonous plants. More recently, I've been drawn to Ishtar and she has taught me to be more comfortable displaying my sexuality and to overcome self-doubt by embracing all the qualities of my personality, the favorable and not so much so, to gain a balance within and truly know myself.

How do you get in touch with/unleash your inner goddess ?

Most frequently, to unleash my inner goddess, I step out into nature. There is nothing quite like the earthen smell of the woods to truly awaken my spirit. I also love to connect with the goddess energy through ritual baths and self-care. I turn to fashion and style to boost my inner goddess. For me, makeup is like warpaint and jewelry like armor, they are tools of empowerment. Through dressing I am able to transform my outside appearance to better reflect the fantastical, magical headspace in which I most often reside. For me, there is a certain type of harmony and a great power that comes with self expression, and, being a Leo, it's hard to NOT be expressive in every aspect of life! When I take the time to put myself together- Put on a cool outfit, do my hair & makeup, and adorn myself in jewelry- I truly feel my personal powers come to life and carry me through a positive day.

What is your Goddess superpower?

Well doesn't every Goddess have a few? Mine are a strong intuition, the power of manifestation, mastery of self-care, the ability to be unabashedly genuine, and a capacity for hope and optimism that is woven into my very nature. There is a blinding light within me that I can not shut off. I continually strive to better myself through my gifts and continue evolving into better versions of being.

Above all, perhaps my strongest superpower is manifestation through my artistic skillset. I can't remember a time in my life where I wasn't creating art. It has always been a magical force within me. Conjuring images in my mind and manifesting them as drawings has helped me truly understand magic through the lens of creation- the divine act of creating something from nothing. Through following my passion for drawing I have been led down some amazingly fulfilling paths that have allowed me to better connect with myself, the universe, and others who share my magical mindset.
