Alejandro Jodorowsky On Tarot.

Mystic, healer, teacher, and cult film maker Alejandro Jodorowsky explains the 22 Major Arcana cards in this English subtitled video which was originally featured as an extra on The Holy Mountain DVD.

  In this 6 part documentary, Jodorowsky takes us on a journey with his personal experience with the tarot, it's uses and how we may incorporate their energies into our daily lives for healing and consciousness.  Alejandro Jodorowsky gives author of Breaking Open The Head Daniel Pinchbeck a tarot reading in Paris. I found this documentary very insightful and at times quite humorous. The energy between these two felt a long the lines of Master/apprentice or Grandfather/Child “I don’t see the future,” Jodorowsky tells Pinchbeck, “only the present.” This an approach  I have taken up with my own tarot practice. Working only with present energies versus the creation of a "future". While some may not agree, I feel this leaves room for magnificent growth and healing within oneself.

In this next video, Alejandro goes on the record to explain "Psychomagic" a therapeutic system developed by Jodorowsky that incorporates Tarot, Eastern philosophy, art and psychotherapy to heal emotional problems, the rest of this video is on youtbe, a long with many more. All of these concepts may seem quite "radical" however,   I recommend anyone that watches these videos to read his work for yourself.
