Which Goddess or Goddess Archetype do you most identify with and why?
I had the most stereotypical Saturn Return ever last year. It ended with the bang of leaving a six year marriage to pursue hot sex and love. My first Saturn crossing happened on Imbolc, Brigid’s day. Brigid is a fiery Celtic goddess, a triple goddess, a light goddess who rules water and poetry and the arts. I started lighting candles for Brigid during my S.R. and then she came to me in meditations, giving me spell work. It was all a blur of chanting during cigarette breaks, rubbing spell candles with cum and blood and slipping crystals into my underwear. It’s hard to talk about spells without sounding like a teen boy jerking off in his bedroom but, I’m telling you, somehow, divine energy was there. It’s nice to vibe with a light goddesses like Brigid because it’ hard for me not to just see the world as it is: Brutal and terrifying. I think there’s a tendency when you start with witchcraft or goddess worship to go straight to the dark goddesses (love you Baba Yaga, Kali, Hecate, Spider Woman) but add a little light goddess energy and when you stare into the void… the void will wink back.
To explain these terms plainly: In many goddess worshiping cultures, there exists the concept of a triple goddess, a deity divided into three aspects. The Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone, each symbolizing life phases, the turning seasons and cycles of the moon. The triple goddess can be further defined, each aspect having a Light and Shadow side. Mother of Darkness, Mother of Light. Beautiful, right?
How do you get in touch with/unleash your inner goddess ?
It’s all about sex magic. It’s all about invoking goddess and turning his dick to stone like you’re the goddamn Medusa. In sex, I also want to occupy the triple goddess, to be the Baby-girl, the Mommy, and the Wise Sage. I want to be the slut of darkness, the slut of light. I hate love spells but I am so into sex spells.
